At Harlesden Primary School, we believe in an evolving curriculum supported by the National Curriculum. In our school, all pupils are unique, and we celebrate and welcome their differences, within our diverse school community. The ability to learn is underpinned by the teaching of basic skills, knowledge, concepts and values with a vision to prepare pupils for life beyond primary school. We constantly provide enrichment opportunities to engage learning. 

Community involvement is an integral part of our curriculum. We invite and encourage all stakeholders to play an active part in school life. 

Our aim is for all children to leave Harlesden Primary School as active learners and participants in the community, where they have the confidence and skills to be decision makers, self-reflect, be lifelong learners and become global citizens.

Core to our curriculum is a love for reading. At Harlesden Primary School we feel strongly that reading is at the core of all learning and is therefore at the core of our curriculum. At our school we have made reading an integral part of learning. Reading is one of our school priorities and is central to the growing minds of our future generations.
